Support that Makes a Difference
MFS has had a positive impact on my son’s life. Since joining the centre in 2020, he has adapted well and made much progress in his learning. He can socialise with his peers, and listen and act on his teacher’s instructions.
When my son first entered MFS, I was concerned that he would not eat well. He used to throw tantrums during mealtimes at home, so I was concerned that this would continue at the centre. But after enrolling in the centre, I noticed that he began to express himself better, and his eating habits have also improved. The centre keeps me updated on his achievements in school, and it makes me more assured that he is cared for very well.
Initially, I was also worried about being able to afford the school fees because my husband and I are both unemployed. However, the centre explained about the Bright Horizons Fund (BHF) to me and encouraged me to apply for it. The subsidies extended put my mind at ease and my son is able to benefit from learning at MFS. The CDA Top-Up Programme benefitted my family the most because I can use it to offset my child’s school fees. This initiative has helped to alleviate our family’s financial burden quite a bit.
The BHF also provides school uniforms for my son, as well as care packs and NTUC vouchers. My son also enjoys receiving birthday cakes on his birthday. Besides this, staff at MFS have gone the extra mile and helped to obtain diapers, household provisions and toys for my son. They also share information about additional resources that we can apply for. I am very grateful for this support from MFS because it has made a difference to my son’s preschool years.
You can touch lives through the BHF. Your contribution goes a long way and helps to ensure that children are given opportunities to education regardless of their family backgrounds. Be a part of the BHF family.
