For full-day childcare, the Basic Subsidy can amount to up to $300 per month. The subsidy amount is based on the child’s age and the type of programme enrolled in.

Working mothers with a gross monthly household income of $12,000 and below are eligible for the Additional Subsidy on top of the Basic Subsidy. The Additional Subsidy aims to provide further financial support to lower-income families. The subsidy amount varies depending on the household income, with lower-income families receiving higher subsidies.

KiFAS aims to make kindergarten education more affordable for Singaporean children attending eligible kindergartens. The subsidy amount is determined based on the family’s household income — the gross family household income should not be more than $12,000 or per capita income is $3000 and below for larger families.
