OCBC-NTUC First Campus Bridging Programme

Supporting Singapore’s national agenda of making preschool education more accessible, the OCBC-NTUC First Campus Bridging Programme provides a one-time top-up of $400 into the Child Development Account of every child from low-income Union families who are enrolled at a My First Skool centre.

Highlights

  • One-time top-up of $400 into the Child Development Account (CDA).
  • Dollar-for-dollar matching (i.e. total $800 of grants) by the government for families eligible for MSF’s Baby Bonus Scheme.
  • Financial Literacy Workshops conducted by OCBC Bank volunteers, which will equip parents with money management skills.

Benefits

Monies in the Child Development Account can be used at approved Baby Bonus institutions for:

  • Preschool fees
  • Learning support programmes
  • Healthcare costs

Who is eligible?

To be eligible:

  • The child must be a new My First Skool enrolment as of 1 January of the current year, and
  • Either parent must be an NTUC Union Member, and
  • Monthly gross household income of $4,500 or less; or $1,125 per capita or less (applicable for 5 or more members in the household).
