Children at MFS (Kampung Admiralty) bring joy and laughter to seniors

In a CNA documentary titled Singapore in Red, Green, Blue, children from My First Skool (MFS) (Kampung Admiralty) were featured for conducting exercise sessions and virtual puppet performances for the seniors at the Active Ageing Hub (AAH) amid the pandemic. Before the pandemic, these sessions were held physically at the AAH and would include activities such as gardening and playing board games together.

“Exercising is a common activity that both children and seniors can do together, so now we have made it into a predictable routine. Our children and seniors used to spend a lot of face-to-face time so even with the onset of the pandemic, we did not stop (the programme) because we know that relationships can be built even without physical touch-points,” said Ms Thian Ai Ling, General Manager of MFS, who was interviewed in the documentary.
