For its unwavering commitment in continually fostering a positive work environment that promotes growth and excellence for its employees, NTUC First Campus (NFC) attained the ‘Gold winner’ title alongside three other companies at the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia Singapore 2023 awards ceremony held on 24 November.
‘Gold winners’ are consecutive winners of the ‘Best Companies To Work For In Asia’ Award for five years or more, and NFC is Singapore’s first preschool operator to be awarded this title by HR Asia, a leading publication in the human resources industry.
This year, 332 companies took part in the awards, and 33,720 employees from fourteen markets including China, Korea and the United Arab Emirates shared their insights and experiences with their companies through an employee engagement survey.
For the third consecutive year, NFC also received the ‘Most Caring Company Award’ for demonstrating exceptional care and support for its staff, particularly during difficult times.
“While most companies recognise that being people first is important, this is especially critical for us as a leader in the early childhood education industry. This is because only when our teachers are happy, they can go on to nurture happy children and bring out the best in them,” said Simon Ong, NFC’s Chief Human Resource Officer.
“At NTUC First Campus, we intentionally create a supportive ecosystem where our colleagues – teachers, pedagogists, therapists, interventionists, and corporate staff – can each have their own tailored growth and take charge of their own professional development,” he added.
