SkoolNet 2 Terms of Use
1. SkoolNet 2 Account Registration, Setup, Access, and Termination
1.1 NFC will create SkoolNet 2 accounts for parents upon their child’s successful enrolment at a preschool centre. Subject to these Terms, a parent may appoint an authorised person for their child and create a SkoolNet2 account for such authorised person through the SkoolNet2 Parent App.
1.2 NFC will provide details such as a unique username and default password to facilitate each SkoolNet 2 User’s first-time access to his/her SkoolNet 2 account.
1.3 Each SkoolNet 2 User is responsible for changing the default password provided by NFC and maintaining the confidentiality of his/her SkoolNet 2 account details (including password), to prevent unauthorised access and use of his/her SkoolNet 2 account.
1.4 NFC reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to grant to or deny any SkoolNet 2 User or limit any SkoolNet 2 User’s access to any content or services available on SkoolNet 2, in view of the following considerations:

1.6. NFC will permanently deactivate your SkoolNet 2 account, with effect from the date of your child’s withdrawal or graduation from the preschool centre.
2. Authorisation for Authorised Persons to Use SkoolNet 2 to Pick Up Child from Preschool Centre
2.1 Parents understand and agree that your child may be released to any person whom you have listed as an authorised person through your SkoolNet 2 Parent App and that such authorised person will have access to his/her own SkoolNet 2 account to use the “child check-out” service to pick up your child from the preschool centre.
2.2 Parents further understand and agree that NFC shall not be held responsible for any incident or accident that may occur after an authorised person has picked up your child from the preschool centre.
2.3 If you wish to suspend or terminate the authorisation for any authorised person to pick up your child from the preschool centre, you must update such suspension or termination through your SkoolNet 2 Parent App to have the authorised person’s SkoolNet 2 account or any of its services suspended, deactivated or terminated.
2.4 In the event NFC receives a notification from a parent pursuant to Clause 2.3, you understand and agree that:

3.1 Personal data which you provide to us is subject to our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.ntucfirstcampus.com/privacy-policy/), which is incorporated by reference into these T&Cs, and applies to your access and/or use of SkoolNet 2
3.2 By accessing or using SkoolNet 2, you consent to our Privacy Policy and our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy”
4. Intellectual Property Rights
4.1 SkoolNet 2 and the content and services (including but not limited to software, files, graphics, and data) made available on SkoolNet 2 are the property of and owned by, licensed to, or controlled by NFC, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other forms of proprietary laws.
4.2 Except as otherwise provided, the content and services made available on SkoolNet 2 shall not be reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or otherwise distributed in any way (including without limitation downloading event photographs from SkoolNet 2 and publishing, uploading, or posting such photographs on your personal social media account without NFC’s prior written permission).
4.3 You may view, download and print content made available on SkoolNet 2, provided:

5.1 In connection with your access or use of SkoolNet 2, you agree:

6.1 NFC reserves the right to monitor all activities on SkoolNet 2 for the purpose of ensuring and enforcing compliance with these Terms and any other applicable laws.
6.2 NFC reserves the right to investigate any violations or alleged violations of these Terms, and may take any action including issuing warnings, and suspending or terminating the relevant SkoolNet 2 account.
7. Links to Third-Party Websites and Mobile Applications
7.1 SkoolNet 2 may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites or mobile applications.
7.2 The hyperlinks to third-party websites or mobile applications are provided for your convenience and shall not be construed as NFC’s endorsement of such third-party websites or mobile applications or imply any affiliation or association with such third party.
7.3 As these third-party websites and mobile applications are not under NFC’s control, NFC is not responsible for the information, features, functions, and privacy practices or policies of any of these third-party websites and mobile applications and any hyperlinks contained in these third-party websites and mobile applications.
7.4 You agree that access to any third-party websites and mobile applications through SkoolNet 2 is at your own risk.
8. Accuracy, Completeness and Timeliness of Content and Services
8.1. NFC is not responsible for any content or services that is not accurate, complete or up to date.
8.2 The content, including any historical information, provided on SkoolNet 2 is for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the basis for making significant decisions without consulting primary or more accurate, more complete, or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the content provided on SkoolNet 2 is at your own risk.
8.3 SkoolNet 2 may contain information provided by third parties, and the opinions and views of third parties. NFC is not under any obligation to verify the information provided by third parties, and the opinions and views expressed by third parties are not those of NFC and are not endorsed by NFC.
8.4 While NFC reserves the right to modify the contents of SkoolNet 2 at any time, NFC has no obligation to update any information on SkoolNet 2.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liabilities
9.1 The contents made available on SkoolNet 2 are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.
9.2 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, NFC does not make any representations or warranties of any kind whatsoever in relation to the contents and services made available on SkoolNet 2, and hereby disclaims all express, statutory and implied warranties:
9.3 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, NFC and its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors and suppliers, shall not be liable for any damage or loss of any kind whatsoever and howsoever caused, including any direct or indirect, special or consequential damages, loss of income, revenue or profits, any lost or damaged data, any damage to your computer system, mobile phone, software or any other property, whether arising directly or indirectly from your access to or use of SkoolNet 2 (including the download of any content from SkoolNet 2), any loss of access to SkoolNet 2, any inaccuracy or incompleteness, or errors or omissions in the transmission of the contents or services provided by SkoolNet 2, any delay or interruption in the transmission of the contents or services provided by SkoolNet 2, and any action taken by you in reliance upon the contents or services provided by SkoolNet 2.
9.4 Subject only to any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable laws, you agree that in no event shall NFC’s total cumulative damages to you exceed the total amount of fees actually paid by you to NFC during the six months immediately preceding the event which gave rise to your claim or claims, in Singapore Dollars.
10. Indemnification
10.1 You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless NFC and its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors and suppliers, from and against any and all losses, liabilities, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees and court fees, arising or resulting from any violation of these Terms.
10.2 In the event you cause a technical disruption of SkoolNet 2 or the systems transmitting SkoolNet 2 to you or other persons, you agree to be responsible for any and all losses, liabilities, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees and court fees, arising or resulting from that disruption.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms and your access and use of SkoolNet 2 are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles that may provide for the application of the laws of another jurisdiction.
11.2 The parties hereto hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
12. General
12.1 If any provision or part-provision of these Terms is or becomes unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision or part-provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful, valid and enforceable.
12.2 If the modification contemplated in Clause 12.1 is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted.
12.3 Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this Clause shall not affect the lawfulness, validity and enforceability of the remaining Terms.
12.4 These Terms, and any other policies or guidelines referenced herein, are the entire agreement and understanding between you and NFC with respect to the access and use of SkoolNet 2 and the contents and services thereof, superseding all prior or contemporaneous communications.
12.5 A printed version of these Terms shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based on or relating to the access and use of SkoolNet 2 to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form.
