To align NFC’s vision to be a thought and practice leader in the care and development of children, supported research projects should also:

We will evaluate the relevance of each project based on these criteria:

  • Approval from Ministry of Health, if within the purview of the Human Biomedical Research Act
  • Alignment with NFC Thought Leadership Thrusts
  • Time and Manpower Demand on our preschools
  • Potential for Translating to Practice
  • Scale of Impact
  • Commitment to report results back to NFC and Parents of Participating Children

Shaking Hands

All research projects shall obtain the following approvals before project commencement and/or public announcement:

  1. Approval of research proposal from NFC RGC
  2. Approval for research funding, if applicable, from NFC RGC
  3. Ethics approval from NFC Ethics Committee, if applicable

The above approval process also applies to collaborative research projects to safeguard the interests of NFC and of our research participants.
