Doing Research With Us
To align NFC’s vision to be a thought and practice leader in the care and development of children, supported research projects should also:
Inform ECE practices
in NFC preschools
Enable evidence-based
decision-making
Contribute to knowledge
sharing with the ECCE sector
We will evaluate the relevance of each project based on these criteria:
- Approval from Ministry of Health, if within the purview of the Human Biomedical Research Act
- Alignment with NFC Thought Leadership Thrusts
- Time and Manpower Demand on our preschools
- Potential for Translating to Practice
- Scale of Impact
- Commitment to report results back to NFC and Parents of Participating Children

All research projects shall obtain the following approvals before project commencement and/or public announcement:
- Approval of research proposal from NFC RGC
- Approval for research funding, if applicable, from NFC RGC
- Ethics approval from NFC Ethics Committee, if applicable
The above approval process also applies to collaborative research projects to safeguard the interests of NFC and of our research participants.
